My new toy

Well the other day I went shopping and ended up at a scraping booking store that is locally owned, i like that, and the owner and I were talking because I was looking for corner cutters, to make round corners, and she sold me on the greatest thing ever the Xyron create and cut. It is a dream to a graphic designers studio and I am just getting to understand the machine but I tested it yesterday and love/didn't understand it but like all of the adobe cs4 package it will turn to love soon. I will show pics of what I have created.

Monday is here again

Well the weekend is over and I am back at the museum, working on artist files but my mind is wondering. I just got some new books about textile designs and I can't wait to read them tonight. I also purchased a new toy about 2 weeks ago and it is not working with my Mac and I am watching the phone for the tech people to call me. I hate waiting and waiting for the phone to ring, I feel like i am waiting for a call from a guy I just had a one night stand with, not like I would really know what that feels like but i think this is pretty close. SO i am working on new prints and should have pics soon.

New Antique Finds

Yesterday Rigo and I went antique shopping and found so great things, these birds I found are from Mexico and I had to fight for them, so land saw them while I was getting ready to pay and wanted some like them but I bought them all, haha, and I also had my eye on some vintage thread and spools, those also went home with me. One other great thing is that we found nachos, like the ones from downtown McAllen, Rigo and I love them with cold cokes. We had a great weekend and now i am working in the studio on prints and they are not comming out the way I like them to so we will see what happends.

Successful Show

Last night was an opening for a group show at the Roswell Museum of Art. It was a great turn out and I met some great people and new fans of my work. It just makes me want to work on new prints. I just need more time on my side. I think I am going to have to wake up at 5am, workout, eat, work at the museum, home, dinner, finally work on designs.

April

Well April has rolled in here in Roswell and the weather is great. I have a show coming up and I am going to continue with my bird prints. I will also have them in my Esty shop for sale soon, after Easter. Rigo and I are going home on Thursday and I can't wait to see my mom and dad and my whole family. It seems we only have 3-4 more months here in Roswell and I am going to make the most of it, designs wise. So after Easter I will have time to update my shop and see what everyone thinks. Bird Prints

I just finished completing my new Mexico bird prints, I have 15 of them and I will be showing them at Tinnie's Shop on Valentine's Day. I have always loved birds and was inspired by Charlie Harper. I just wanted to bring the simplicity of shape to the birds and show off their beauty.
